Retrieval Context Preview
Retrieval context preview is a trust UX pattern that shows a concise preview of the documents and chunks used for generation—including freshness and exclusions—before users act on conclusions. Instead of invisible RAG, the interface surfaces which materials were included or left out so people can correct scope, drop stale sources, and only then accept the answer.
When to use
Essential for research assistants, enterprise knowledge bots, and any RAG product where users need to verify corpus coverage before trusting a synthesized answer.
